Delta G.E.M.S.

Greetings Delta GEMS, Parents, and Community Supporters:

I am excited to announce the start of the Delta G.E.M.S. (Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully) program on Saturday, October 15, 2011 sponsored by the San Fernando Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.! Due to the success of the spring 2011 program, we are going to begin Delta GEMS earlier in the academic year to allow for additional sessions, community service projects, fellowships, and ongoing support of our Delta GEMS.

The Delta GEMS kick-off meeting will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Reseda Blvd. Church of Christ located at 7806 Reseda Blvd., Reseda, CA. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 am. If you are interested in participating in the Delta GEMS 2011-12 program, please indicate your interest by replying to this email. Program applications and flyers will be available for distribution next week. If you are a school counselor/teacher or community supporter, please indicate the number of applications and flyers you would like to distribute at your school, church, etc.
